Nasi goreng kampong ala seafood - The Short Cut Way
Instead grind the ingredients, i chose to use powdered ingredients instead. It turned out well too.
In a small bowl, combine tumeric powder, belacan powder, garlic powder and chopped shallots. Saute all these and add on rice. Then add the seafood, fried a while, then make a hole in the middle of the rice. Pour a little oil in the middle and break the eggs into the hole. Stir in the rice.
Serve hot!!!! hahaha...The Short Cut Way!!!

Another good dish!!!
this is another newbie!!!
Geizhi (wolfberry), red dates, garlic and shallots, oyster sauce and sugar...
saute garlic and shallots, then geizhi and red dates... but first marinade the chicken with black pepper... then add the chic into the sauteed ingredients. Simmer till chicken is cooked thoroughly...then, add oyster sauce, a little water and sugar (depending on amount of gravy u want). Then let it simmer, lastly b4 turning off fire, add a dash of sesame oil and turn off fire. Soon as fire is off add a dash of wine... emmmm.....yummy!!!!
EZY Fish!!!!
Late home!!! Luckily I defrosted the fish this morn... so after scrambling thru my fridge, found chilli padi, ginger, fermented soy beans...
Then, I diced some garlic and shallots, diced the ginger, the chilli padi too... Deep fried the fish then dished out.
After that saute all those diced ingredients, and then add the fermented soy beans and some sugar with water, depending on how much gravy you want... let it simmer a while...dish out and pour onto the fried fish...
Emmmm...Yummy!!! And it was great to see hubby nodding his head...saying, "emm...today's dish tastes real great!!"
