Braised Chicken in Dried Scallop Sauce

this is the fastest dish!!!

Braise chic meat with ginger, spring onion and stock. In another pot, pour in crated dried scallop, a little oyster sauce, sugar, salt and some stock from the braised pot. Then pour over to the braised pot. Once chic is tender, add in a little bit of cornstarch to thicken the sauce.

Serve HOT!!!

Saute garlic, chili padi, chili, dried chili. Add in pork then mui choy. (Mui Choy has to be soaked for 30 minutes and chopped b4 cooking). Stir in sauce - kicap manis, sugar, sesame oil, a dash of xiu hing wine.

Easy?? Yes, indeed!!

Wanton Mee!

the wanton mee and the sui kow skin's been lying in my fridge for quite some time, so finally laid my hands to cook them...

well, some ppl commented that the recipes in my blog "tak boleh pakai"...emm..wonder y? i would say it all depends on the kind of ingredients and cooking utensils we use. For example, the fire of the stove, the kind of wok, even to the extend of dried chilli. You may have bought dried chilli that are less hot and i may have used those that are sizzling hot. Thus, the amount u need to put in would differ.

so when u follow recipes from anywhere, even in recipe books, you need to "pandai-pandai ikut". Use your common sense and most of all, put in lots of love to your dishes, i'm sure no matter how, you'll cook real good dishes!
